Scott became an Executive Director for the combined RP Infrastructure – Ranbury business in 2023, following their merger. As the head of the Northern Property and Building division of the business, Scott plays a key role in leading development and growth as well as undertaking senior project roles such as Project Director on Ipswich CBD Redevelopment and Gold Coast Rapid Transit.
With over 25 years of experience in the engineering, construction, and property industries, he has gained broad-ranging experience which is key to the management and delivery of today’s multi-discipline projects.
A services engineer, Scott gained extensive experience both here and in the UK on projects such as central energy plants for industrial facilities, laundries, hospitals, computer data centres, laboratories, pharmaceutical and IT clean rooms. As a project manager, he has delivered major public projects. These projects span public infrastructure, such as libraries, schools, hospitals, museums, convention centres, and courthouses, as well as commercial facilities such as office towers, and residential unit developments.
Scott has acted as a development manager for the sale or redevelopment of large parcels of land, often with challenges of decontamination and heritage listing. He has extensive experience acting for the government and engaging with the development industry through EOI’s to deliver public infrastructure outcomes via property value capture.
Scott has qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Business Administration, and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Controlled Systems. He is a member of Engineers Australia and is registered with the Australian Institute of Project Management at the level of Master Project Director.
Scott is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology.
