Paul Tracey has more than 35 years of experience in the development and delivery of large complex projects. His expertise spans the whole project lifecycle from business case development, procurement, transaction management to construction management and project leadership, to cost recovery and commercial resolution. Paul is well versed in all forms of procurement models, including Construct only, D&C, DBOM, PPP, and Alliancing, and has worked in the rail, road, building, water, and resources sectors.
Paul became an Executive Director for the combined RP Infrastructure – Ranbury business in 2023, following their merger, heading up the Northern Advisory division. Prior to that Paul was the Principal for Ranbury’s Resources and Utilities business unit, responsible for service delivery to our resources, energy, water, and utilities clients.
Paul has been the Project Director on some of Australia’s high-profile projects and has been a member of advisory boards on major projects. He has provided strategic advice to various organisations, including Government Owned Corporations, Financiers, Private Asset Owners, and Constructors regarding project governance, delivery strategy, recovery of distressed projects, project controls, procurement models, organizational structure, and risk strategies. Paul has provided due diligence for various asset owners on multibillion-dollar projects and has successfully led the commercial resolution of commercial claims and disputes.
His expertise has been recognised through over 12 industry awards, locally and internationally. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Major in Engineering Civil), MBA Business Administration and Management, and is a member of AICD, MIEAust, MAIPM, AIM.
