Patries has over 20 years’ experience, with significant exposure to government department and agency transport and infrastructure projects, policies and politics both within Australia and Europe.
She has a PhD in Policy Analysis and has vast experience in the field of transport and infrastructure from her academic work and project work within the public and private sectors.
Patries is an Executive Director in the Advisory group for the combined RP Infrastructure – Ranbury business following their merger in 2023. She leads the Advisory service offering across the Central (NSW/ACT) and Southern (Vic/SA/Tas) jurisdictions.
Prior to joining RP Infrastructure in mid 2023, Patries worked for over a decade in senior roles with the NSW Government leading the development phase of programs such as Fast Rail and Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport. Her leadership was recognised through the merit NAWIC Award (National Association of Women in Construction) for Project Development.
As part of her work in Europe (through Rand Corporation) Patries worked with the Dutch Government in developing strategies for freight transportation, and in developing options for airport expansions.
Patries holds a PhD in Policy Analysis and a Master of Science, Honors from Delft University of Technology.
