Jason is a senior commercial manager with 25 years’ experience in commercial contracts and projects across the renewable energy (wind / solar / pumped hydro), utilities (power generation and distribution) and oil & gas industries.
Jason has provided procurement and commercial services on major energy projects, including large rotating mechanical equipment.
He is a proven manager of ‘end-to-end’ commercial delivery and an effective builder of teams and relationships within large-scale, complex development projects in Australia and overseas. His expertise spans the project cycle, providing strong insight into a project’s commercial strategy, approvals, and implementation to asset start-up.
He understands how to frame risk, contract delivery models, and implementation for major works, and is skilled at communicating complex issues clearly and appropriately in sensitive delivery environments.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Economics, Majoring in Finance, from the University of Newcastle and a Graduate Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) from TAFE.
