Ed Brown

Ed is a Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry where he has worked on multi-disciplinary major infrastructure projects ranging in value from $500,000 up to $700M plus. Ed is an accomplished construction management specialist, with a natural ability to coordinate projects, manage, and deliver projects.

Ed has extensive operational project management and delivery expertise on significant critical assets and infrastructure within NSW. Projects include major arterial road and intersection works for the M7 Westlink construction, the New England Highway at Beresfield, Sapphire to Woolgoolga, Gerringong upgrade – Princes Highway upgrade and airside pavement and civil works at Sydney Airport. In addition to the Transport sector, Ed was also the Project Manager for the Harry Seidler design Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre at Ultimo. Ed joined in 2015, and has been involved in constructability, and staging for Logan Enhancement Project (LEP), Melbourne Airport’s Runway Development Project, Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3, and cost estimation works for F6 Extension Stage 1.

Before his current role, Ed had an impressive career at Fulton Hogan where he delivered many significant projects. Ed’s project portfolio includes experience in all facets of project life from concept to completion in infrastructure projects across transport, utilities, education, sports and community, water, and communications sectors. He has extensive experience in civil, structural, and services disciplines. This expertise, together with his strong leadership and management skills and excellent communication skills, ensure productive client relations and stakeholder engagement.

As a student engineer, Ed worked on the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, and after completing his Degree in 1994, commenced works as a Site Engineer for Belmadar Constructions. During his decade with Belmadar (later acquired by Fulton Hogan in 2005) and an additional 10yrs with Fulton Hogan, Ed successfully delivered various infrastructure projects in the roads, rail, water, and buildings sectors.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is MIEAust and a Member ACES.
