David has a background in Construction and Project Management and has successfully delivered industrial, mixed-use, office, residential, civic and health projects. He has a proven record across the full life-cycle of developments involving multiple stakeholders, time and budgetary constraints, and often constrained sites with development encumbrances.
David’s experience with a variety of procurement routes, and his commercial acumen, allows him to inform the procurement strategy and undertake negotiations whilst protecting his client’s interests and setting the project up for success. His previous experience working for contractors in the UK and Ireland has allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of the construction process and his ability to understand both the client and contractor’s perspective enables him to anticipate issues and reach practical, well considered solutions.
David excels in the interpersonal aspects of managing projects and is a strong leader able to direct and manage teams and stakeholders throughout the life of a project. David’s ability to challenge assumptions while maintaining positive engagement with all project partners ensures he can set the vision, goals and objectives of a project to maximise benefits and opportunities.
David became an Executive Director of Project Management for the combined RP Infrastructure (RPI) – Ranbury business in 2023 following the merger of the two businesses. He joined RPI in 2016, becoming a Director in 2020 and NSW State Director in 2022.
David holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Construction Management from Nottingham Trent University and a Master of Science in Project Management from the Technological University Dublin.
