Alison has skills in the field of general management, strategic human resource management, organisational change consulting, workforce capacity management and recruitment acquired over 20 years.

In 2021, Alison was recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours List, awarded a Medal in the General Division (OAM) for service to the community through a range of organisations including her work on the board of RSPCA Qld, Women’s mentoring, Indigenous training & employment outcomes.

Alison became Chief People Officer of the combined RP Infrastructure – Ranbury business in 2023 following the merger of the two businesses.  Alison joined Ranbury in 2014 as General Manager People Operations, reporting to the Managing Director and Board, providing strategic direction for the people function and for growth enablers within the business.

Prior to that she was National HR Director at Currie & Brown. At Currie & Brown she delivered a major initiative to implement human resource best practice to a “Greenfield” practice whilst continuing to manage several onsite teams in major Coal Seam Gas (CSG) and mining clients across Queensland, including Santos, QGC/BG, Origin, Hancock Coal, ExxonMobil, BP and Caltex. Following the acquisition of Currie & Brown by AMEC Plc, Alison completed the strategic overview of all human resource and health safety, security and environment frameworks to meet the global regulatory and legal requirements. This included implementation of the global AMEC HR Framework.

Appointed by Ergon Energy to manage the Attraction and Retention portfolio, Alison led the delivery of the Employer Re-branding and Employee Value Proposition project, the Engagement Survey rollout, Workforce planning 5-year review and centralisation of the recruitment function.

Alison’s career in human resources commenced in the Australian Government. She moved into the private sector in 2002, and was appointed General Manager of Hamilton James & Bruce’s Queensland business in 2006. Alison was approached by Ergon Energy in 2011 following her roles in Currie & Brown and AMEC.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Health Science from the Queensland University of Technology and an MBA in management from the University of Queensland.
