Management and optimisation of property assets for Government, private clients and utility providers is a specialist area of Ranbury’s Property offering. Our clients have needed focussed assistance as to how to achieve efficiencies relative to asset consolidation, disposal, and current operation, and, if rationalisation is the chosen direction, what methods should be adopted to sell surplus assets or consider alternative uses for their sites?

A number of our clients (with a large property base or a scattered geographic approach to business operations) are currently focusing their energies on rationalisation options. We have recently been involved in rationalisation strategies for Cairns Regional Council, Toowoomba Regional Council, Ipswich City Council, Unitywater, Aurizon and Energex and are currently assisting Sunshine Coast Regional Council on a depot rationalisation strategy.

While we have been busy on these broader asset rationalisation strategies, these same organisations are requesting asset assessments (due diligence, feasibility analysis, building condition assessments) on individual / grouped properties.  Ranbury has been fortunate to have been invited to provide this expertise and to test a variety of methods to realise project revenue from assets or simply to better define the ongoing costs to maintain an asset.
