Mike has more than 20 years’ projects experience involved in a wide variety of multi-discipline programs, feasibility through to construction, in industries including coal, nickel, iron ore, gold, coal seam gas and infrastructure.
He has key skills in all aspects of program and project management and controls, including PMO establishment and operation, scope management, cost management, planning and scheduling, risk management including cost and schedule risk analysis, progress measurement, trend & change management, administration of contracts and preparation of written and graphical project management reports.
Mike’s most recent achievement includes his leadership role as Principal Program Controls Manager for the $6.5 billion Transport Network Reconstruction Program delivered by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Since joining Ranbury in 2016, Mike has been assisting the Queensland Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development and the Commonwealth Games (DITID) to establish and implement a PMO framework for Global Tourism Hubs with a focus on the Queen’s Wharf project.
Mike is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology.
