One of those platforms is our monthly Learn at Lunch where we invite a different person in the business each month to present to us on a subject of their choice; whether that be lessons learnt, a new initiative or a project update. We also have a Project Knowledge Bank, a weekly business development meeting and regular meet-ups with employees across all business units to encourage collaboration and sharing of ideas. Ranbury value employee opinions and feedback throughout the year but also have a yearly Engagement Survey which asks employees for their thoughts and feedback on a range of different topics, including but not limited to; Management, Clients, Your Role and the Work Environment.

Ranbury support and encourage employees to continue their training and development during their career with Ranbury. Each year, managers complete a “My Plan” meeting with their respective teams to identify goals and support required. They will then complete quarterly catch-ups; “My Review”, to check back in with those goals. We log this in our Training and Development Register and any training or development requests are reviewed at our Executive Management Meeting for approval. We also invite our employees to attend industry events, join industry associations or may offer to compensate employees for their current membership fees. As a specialist in Rail, Ranbury ensure all rail employees have Safely Access the Rail Corridor training and hold Rail Industry Worker Cards.
