Ranbury has had a long association with building a better Queensland with its involvement in a range of landmark public infrastructure throughout the Queensland - Some of the projects have included: SEQIP Rail Alliances - Approx $7B Read More Capital Works Project Management – Gold Coast City Council Read More Schools Read more Hospitals Read more Supreme Court Read More State Tennis Centre ![]() With the multi-million development moving under the umbrella of the Major Sports Facilities Authority, the State's big-league facilities were moved under one management roof, enabling the centre to leverage off of the Authority's expertise in designing, constructing and operating Queensland's major sporting venues. The Centre, completed at the end of 2008, hosted the inaugural Australian combined Men's and Women's Hardcourt Championships in January 2009 (in the lead-up to the Australian Open in Melbourne) re-affirming Queensland's credentials on the international tennis circuit. Mirvac built the $82 million complex which features: • 23 international-standard courts • Centre Court arena seating up to 5,500 patrons • Three Grand Slam surfaces - acrylic hard courts, clay courts and grass • Shade over two of the show courts • A glazed and air-conditioned multi-function space which will be a 1/2 court for junior coaching in non-event periods and a media work room during events • Enclosed and airconditioned players' lounge and corporate lounge Importantly, the centre has become the headquarters for Tennis Queensland as well as the QAS tennis program, and one of Tennis Australia's national high performance academies. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
