CSR SUGAR Pioneer Mill Co- Generation Project Ranbury has been proud to be closely involved with this cutting edge ‘green’ project. Working under tight time and budget constraints in a brownfield environment, Ranbury provided various key project positions to CSR from project inception to final completion. This was a very challenging project, by a number of factors including the necessity to minimise disruption to mill operations, the age of the existing mill infrastructure (the mill is over 100 years old), many project scope unknowns, a low level of industry expertise in modifying mill plant to change to electricity generation and a low level of client project delivery infrastructure in delivering major works . Despite many challenges, this project now sees CSR leading the way in sugar cogeneration.    Ranbury was appointed as the Lead Consultant for the redevelopment of two major control room facilities located in Townsville and Rockhampton and four minor building works projects located in Cairns, Mackay, Maryborough and Toowoomba. Ranbury co-ordinated the services of architectural, interior and landscaping design and engineering services including; quantity surveying, structural and civil, mechanical, electrical, communications, data, hydraulic, security and fire engineering. |
